A Penguin fights for its chick survival as it must hunt for its food.

When making this film I took inspiration from David Attenborough documentaries. I wanted to document a penguins journey of catching its own food. I used charcoal on paper to represent the vast and harsh landscape, to contradict with the vibrant colours of under the water world, which is animated with oil on glass animation techniques. The penguins sound heard within the film were recorded during my visit to Birdworld Surrey.
